This Warranty Policy outlines the terms and conditions for warranties provided by Roboidy for its watertankcontroller.com products. We are committed to providing our customers with high-quality products and services. This policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Bangladesh.
1. Products Covered Under Warranty
This warranty applies exclusively to the "SmartTank Device".
SmartTank Device Warranty
The "SmartTank Device" comes with a total warranty period of ten (10) years from the date of purchase, which is divided into:
- One (1) Year Replacement Warranty: The device is eligible for a replacement if it suffers from any manufacturing defects within the first year
- Nine (9) Years Service Warranty: Following the initial replacement period, the device is covered by a nine-year service warranty for repairs and maintenance.
2. Products Not Covered Under Warranty
The following products sold by Roboidy are not covered by any warranty:
- SmartTank Sensor
- SmartTank Cables
- Any other accessories unless explicitly stated otherwise.
These products are sold on an "as-is" basis and are not eligible for replacement, repair, or refund under this warranty policy.
3. Warranty Conditions and Claims
To claim the warranty for a "SmartTank Device," the following conditions must be met:
- The claim must be made within the warranty period, with valid proof of purchase (e.g., receipt, invoice).
- The device must have been used in accordance with the user manual and our guidelines.
- The defect must be a result of a manufacturing fault and not due to external factors.
Warranty Claim Process:
- Contact our customer support team with your proof of purchase and a detailed description of the issue.
- Our team will guide you through the troubleshooting process to diagnose the problem.
- If the issue is determined to be a manufacturing defect covered by the warranty, we will provide instructions for the return or servicing of the device.
- For replacement claims within the first year, a new or refurbished unit will be provided.
- For service claims within the subsequent nine years, Roboidy will provide free servicing. Costs for any replacement parts will be borne by the customer.
- Shipping and handling fees for exchange or returning the device for warranty service are the responsibility of the customer.
4. Exclusions from Warranty Coverage
This warranty does not cover any damage or defects resulting from:
- Accidents, misuse, abuse, or neglect.
- Improper installation, maintenance, or operation not in accordance with our official guidelines.
- Unauthorized modifications, repairs, or disassembly of the device.
- Connection to an improper voltage supply or use of incompatible accessories.
- Damage caused by natural disasters, such as floods, lightning, fire, or other acts of God.
- Normal wear and tear, cosmetic damage, or corrosion.
- Use in environments outside the specified operating parameters.
5. Support and Servicing
For any service that requires an on-site visit from a company-provided electrician, an additional service charge will be applicable. This charge must be paid by the customer. Our team will inform you of the charges before scheduling a visit.
Roboidy provides complimentary remote support for troubleshooting and assistance through WhatsApp, Messenger, or phone calls. This free support is available during our official office hours.
6. Limitation of Liability
In accordance with the laws of Bangladesh, Roboidy's liability is limited to the replacement or repair of the "SmartTank Device" as set forth in this warranty policy. We shall not be liable for any incidental, consequential, or special damages, including but not limited to, lost profits, loss of data, or damages arising from the use or inability to use the product.
